Portable Ham Radio Station | Winlink

Hello Operators.
Todays video is about ham radio off grid, deploying a man portable ham radio station for the Winlink Wednesday net check-in. I’ll be operating qrp portable with an Icom IC-705. My portable antenna is the Icom AH-705,. Portable ham radio power supply is the PowerFilm Lightsaver Max. I’ll send this check-ins while relaxing in the DD hammocks Frontline hammock, setup on the sea shore.

Operating Winlink with an HF portable ham radio can be challenging. For this reason we utilize the weekly Winlink Wednesday nets, to get some low stress training in before the roof starts caving in around us.
